Six months ago, we opened LEMOON to everyone on iOS and Android.
Since then, creators have published new stories, readers have discovered new series, communities have started forming around episodes, and a lot of feedback has helped us understand what LEMOON needs to become.
We're building LEMOON step by step, with one goal: create a better place for independent webcomic creators and the readers who support them.
Today, a new app update is live on iOS and Android.
Before sharing what's new, we wanted to talk about what we've been improving since launch.
Building a stronger LEMOON
The first months after launch taught us a lot.
We saw what creators loved, what readers used every day, and what needed to improve fast.
We also saw where the app was not good enough yet.
Some of you experienced slowdowns. Some of you saw the app unavailable for short periods. Some creators reported bugs while publishing, managing episodes, or checking their series.
That was frustrating, and we know it.
So over the past few weeks, a lot of our work has been focused on making LEMOON smoother, more stable, and easier to use.
Not every improvement is visible immediately. Some updates happen behind the scenes: performance improvements, bug fixes, infrastructure work, and cleaner systems to support the platform as it grows.
But these changes matter.
A creator should be able to publish without stress.
A reader should be able to open the app and continue a story smoothly.
A community notification should take you to the right place.
A growing platform should feel better over time, not heavier.
That is the foundation we're building.
What's new in this update
The new version of LEMOON is now available on iOS and Android!
Here's what changed.
Creator milestones
Creators can now celebrate important moments directly inside LEMOON.
When a series reaches a new milestone, creators see a celebration with confetti and a shareable card they can post with their community.
We want creators to feel their progress.
Every new reader, every new milestone, every sign of growth matters. Publishing online can sometimes feel lonely, especially for independent artists. Small moments of recognition help make that journey more visible and more motivating.
This is only one step, but it fits a bigger idea: creators should not just publish on LEMOON, they should feel like they are growing on LEMOON.
Better notification control
Notifications are also improving.
You can now choose what you want to be notified about from your settings:
- new episodes
- comments
- likes
- milestones
- and more
Notifications also now appear as banners while you are inside the app.
And when you tap a comment notification, it takes you directly to the comment.
That sounds simple, but it makes the community experience much better. Conversations are easier to follow, creators can react faster, and readers can come back to the exact moment that matters.
Translate comments
LEMOON is already an international community.
Creators and readers come from different countries, speak different languages, and still gather around the same stories.
That is why we added comment translation.
When you see a comment in another language, you can now tap “Translate” and understand it instantly.
We want LEMOON to feel open to everyone, not limited by language. Webcomics are visual by nature, and stories can travel far beyond borders. The community around those stories should be able to do the same.
Series to discover this month
This update is also a good moment to highlight some of the series growing on LEMOON right now. Every month, more creators publish new episodes, reach new readers, and bring fresh stories to the platform.

Our focus is simple:
Make the app smoother, improve discovery, help creators grow, and make the reading experience better for everyone.
LEMOON is still at the beginning of its story.
We will keep shipping, listening, fixing, and improving with the community.
