Today, we're opening Lemoon to everyone on IOS and Android.
After months of building, testing, breaking things, fixing them again, and growing with early creators and readers, the app is officially available on iOS and Android. This is our first public chapter, and we wanted to share why Lemoon exists and where we're headed.
Why we built LEMOON
Lemoon started from a simple idea: creators deserve a place that's open, fair, and modern.
Most platforms focus on licensed content or closed ecosystems. We wanted the opposite, an environment built around independent artists, fresh stories, and a real community.
We decided on a few principles:
- Original creations first
- No AI-generated webtoons
- Creators keep ownership
- A simple monetization model
Lemoon is fully independent. No publisher behind us, no large group - just people who love webcomics and want to build something that respects the creators behind them.

Right now on Lemoon:

- A growing community helping each other every day
Readers can comment, reply, follow, and discover new stories through a personalized feed.
Creators can publish for free, schedule episodes, cut panels automatically, and activate paid episodes once they reach five episodes.
Our long-term vision
We want Lemoon to become the place where any creator can grow, without barriers or gatekeepers.
A space where publishing is simple, where readers and authors can talk directly, and where originality always comes first. A living ecosystem built around independent stories.
In the long run, we imagine a platform where:
- creators can build an audience from nothing
- earn a fair share from their work
- understand how their series evolves with real tools
- and stay in control of their creations at all times
For readers, we want an experience that feels alive: recommendations that adapts to their tastes, real conversations around episodes, and a community where people gather because they genuinely love stories!
